The story is that the ancient hermetic wisdom of the Thoth had to be kept alive through hard times, the secret knowledge was given over to the people who could never be extinguished. The black brotherhood, the brother snod, the thieves and roustabouts and grifters and petty harlots. The ideas themselves were transformed into instructive pictograms, which were then themselves converted into a gambling game.

It has been a really really long time since i played. Decades really. IT is from what I recall a trumping game. This is also instructive. It shows the hierarchy of qualities and values associated with the pictograms.

what I would like to be able to play with is a deck of sustainability cards, that featured inputs and outputs. This would be a way of sort of completing circuits.

Once we come up with the cards, this could become a fantastic art project for the community.

There are various pipe-laying or rail-laying board games out there, some of which are really good... They might have inspiring game mechanics.
