Information

Beyond 2019

The crisis is solved. What now? - Let's talk about who we are, what we do with out daily lives and how we see the Supestructs we have built move on beyond 2019.

Totally agree. :)
Things like the New World Report, Forest in the Trees, the Cloud Tagging, etc. are trying to make some (indexing) sense of it all... beyond that, I assume the Institute for the Future will be drawing their own conclusions and analysis - although I doubt that will be made public.

As for overlapping, that's totally an issues the above Superstructs are also worried with. The Alliance Superstruct was created to start weeding (or joining) overlapping/identical Superstructs, but... I think we just run out of time to do so.

Ah well. We have the next few months to work our way through the contents scattered through the web...

Index!!! What a concept! In my next life, my ambition is to be a guide to the Akashic Records. Indexing is key. I'm trembling writing this, realizing that I can't keep an index of my own web site. My excuse is the good google search. If superstructgame.org search worked for me I probably wouldn't be wishing for good indexing. I too have wanted to look at all 500+ structs and see what to do with them. That is, what I can do with them. In my few meager scrollings of the list, I instantly found ones to relate to. But they seemed to be repetitive and overlapping. I agree that although superstructs are supposed to synergize divergent solutions, they seem to diverge even more. No, at this point I'm unqualified. But good indexing is such a help. And organizing into contents, like lists of figures, tables, and table of contents would be interesting. You might be able to tell I was a technical writer as a profession and a grad student at one time. Info organization is what my cells want.

Might be an idea to clean up and organize (centralize?) all the contents generated during the game. I want to take my time to read through it all for the next few weeks, and would prefer to have a clear 'index page' from which to visit everything, rather than to find buried links to offshore blogs somewhere...

Discuss ways in which we can apply our learnings beyond the game.

Network with the players, based on skill, friendship or special interests.

Look into possibilities of consolidating some Superstructs to give talks, seminars, workshops, etc.

Figure out what we want to get out of all of this the day after the game is over. (a book, a personal greeting from the Game Masters? a certificate?

A job board? A Craiglist-type forum for all involved? a way to contact all 6500 players and find out people who live nearby and organize real meetings?

An event at the Institute for the Future, where we could have a party and celebrate?

They are all valid ideas - please add your own!
