The Possum depicted on our avatar is named Albert and tip toes through the tulips at my good friend's farm. He is spared from the dead-eye aim from both her husband and her son - because, in fact, he's just "so cute"!. This is her photo of him. I am trying to get her to sign on to this organization! What's so cool - is how this came together as a real organic thing. Very Possum of us, I must say - all synchronistic and all.

Belated hellos.
I'm glad you liked the piece, pony and Mudmama. The tale arose because my daughter insisted on seeing Mama Mia again rather than Wall-E. This was during the lead-up to the game start and I hadn't actually caught the lyrics until I heard them in the opening scene. It went from there.

I must confess that the footnote was a quick afterthought, but it clearly struck an original chord with you, which is great.

(Possums down under run on roofs at night with hob-nailed boots, eat the roses, and snort like halitotic old drunks outside your window at 2am. Quite cute for all that)

Positive Visioning has been a part of what I do for some years now. Thing is: we all get what we think about - negative or positive. It takes great courage and applied responsibility for one's own happiness. Strength and dedication too. Maintaining a positive outlook is NOT for sissies. Somehow in my/our culture being pessimistic is perceived as being more mature. But being pessimistic is easy - and requires no heavy lifting - of spirit. It takes practiced skill and observational finesse to see past negativity. Do I believe in signs? But of course! They are messages we send ourselves + each other!

Oh Pony!!! Thank you for the link to the Universe! Do you believe in signs? My partner struggles MIGHTILY with depression...he gets the notes from the universe and I'm always the one taking them to heart :-) (I expect my optimism is part of why we were drawn together) Now I'm getting them and I feel even more connected to YOU through this!
