its a portuguese man of war or siphonophore. two types of basic cell create diverse forms including light emitting structures.

nothing special layer of primer, 2 coats artist's acrylic paint, 1 coat gloss medium as a urethane layer. and sharpie for the black writing.

I love the swap boxes - I first noticed them over in FaceBook.... and actually have several boxes I am convirting to swap boxes right now. I am hoping to use the ones I make for The Foundation of Hope.

Mudmama how is yours holding up in the weather? Did you use anything special as a sealer?

There are the longies I started in 2008 - Ill post pictures of what they looked like when they were adjusted later - they are shown here on a young Leaf with no elastic and little embellishment!

Oh...and by the time the flowers come up in the lawn we won't be living here, it'll be a message for whoever buys the house :-) In 2008 we bought the farm we live in in 2019.
